A degree first year student, G. Anuradha, 18, burnt herself to death in her house at Kota Bachupalli village in Tandur mandal of neighbouring Ranga Reddy district on Saturday.
Hours after her death, another teenager, Naresh, 18, of the same village committed suicide by consuming poison near Tandur railway station. Anuradha’s father lodged a complaint with the Tandur police alleging that his daughter committed suicide as she was depressed over Naresh allegedly outraging her modesty.
