Two techies die, one hurt as car overturns

Two techies were killed and another sustained serious injuries when the car they were travelling in overturned at Chandanagar in the early hours of Sunday.

The victims, N.V. Aditya (28) of Secunderabad and Satish (28) of Vidyanagar, were travelling in the car along with their friend Pavan.

The victims’ family members told the police that the trio were schoolmates and reportedly had gone to a party.

However, while returning, their Swift car overturned near the MRO office on the Lingampally-Gachibowli road. The trio suffered fatal injuries in the incident, police said.

While Aditya and Satish died on the spot, Pavan, who sustained injuries, was admitted to a private hospital.

Condition critical

His condition is stated to be critical.

Man, son drown

In another incident, a father and son drowned in a lake at Medchal on Sunday. The victims, identified as Yelliah (35) and Sai (10), went to the water body to take bath and drowned, the police said.

Their bodies were retrieved and shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post mortem.
