Two teachers, lecturer among 7 held for exam malpractice

The police on Wednesday arrested two government school teachers and a government college lecturer along with four others for alleged malpractices in Intermediate exams of distance education held by Telangana Open School Society.

On a tip-off that two persons working in a private junior college colluded with employees of City College in Intermediate distance mode exams, the Commissioner’s Task Force (South) officials raided an exam centre in Moghalpura. They caught seven persons, including Mohd. Abdullah and P. Kodandarama Rao, both working as teachers in a government school.

Another person, Syed Saber, working as lecturer in City College, was also arrested.

Clerk, students also held

The others were clerk of a private college and students. Two other accused, Raghu, also a lecturer from City college and Raju, Record Assistant of Government junior college, Aliya, are absconding. The arrested were handed over to Moghalpura police.
