Two children killed in Hyderabad wall collapse

Two toddlers were killed when a wall in their house collapsed in Borabanda area here, police said on Tuesday.

The incident occurred around midnight on Monday when the two children were sleeping in a room and an internal partition wall suddenly collapsed on them, S R Nagar police station inspector G V Ramana Goud said.

“The injured girl and the boy were shifted to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. They were identified as two-and-half-year old Navya and her brother 18-month-old Saicharan,” the officer said.

Their father suffered minor injuries in the incident.

A case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
