TS-SET results declared

The Telangana State – State Eligibility Test (TS-SET) results were released here with 3,726 candidates declared to be qualified out of the 56,111 candidates who appeared for the exam.

As per the UGC norms only 6% of the appeared candidates have to be declared qualified and the these candidate would be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer in universities and government degree colleges in Telangana.

The test was conducted on June 11 this year in 29 subjects. The pass percentage of men was 66.59 while it was 33.41 among women candidates. The results of qualified candidates in all reserved categories was declared. The minimum marks to be obtained for general category candidates was 40% in the three papers each and it was 35% for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, ST and Physically Challenged categories.
