TRS blamed for dalit youths’ suicide bid

The TDP district general secretary Sathu Mallesham has lodged a complaint with Thimmapur police station against the Manakondur legislator Rasamayi Balakishan, Bejjanki ZPTC member T. Sharath Rao, Bejjanki market committee chairman Srinivas Reddy on the charges of abetting the suicide of two Dalit youths over denial of three acres of land in Gudem village of Bejjanki mandal.

The TDP delegation led by its general secretary visited the Thimmapur police station and lodged a complaint with inspector T. Karunakar on Thursday. They demanded that the police register criminal cases against the legislator and TRS leaders for forcing the Dalit youth to commit suicide.

The TDP leaders alleged that the TRS leaders at the behest of legislator had sanctioned the land to the ineligible persons in the Gudem village for which they were collecting huge amount.
