In view of the Bonalu procession at Lal Darwaza in old city, the city police will impose traffic restrictions in Charminar, Mirchowk and Falaknuma divisions from 12 noon to 10 p.m. on July 16.
Traffic coming from Kandikalgate will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza and diverted at Chatrinaka police station “T” junction towards Gowlipura.
Traffic coming from Phoolbagh towards Lal Darwaza will be diverted at Pather-Ki-Dargah towards the office of ACP, Chatrinaka.
Vehicles coming from Balagunj will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza and diverted towards Gowlipura crossroad. Vehicles from Gowlipura market towards Sudha talkies will be diverted at Central Library towards Ashoka pillar crossroads.
Traffic from Meer-Ka-Daira and Moghalpura will not be allowed towards Shahalibanda and diverted at Haribowli crossroads.
Traffic from Uppuguda and Chatrinaka side will be diverted at new Shamsheergunj “T” junction towards Tadban via Almas hotel (Jahanuma).
Motorists going towards Aliyabad from Chandrayangutta will be diverted at new Shamsheergunj ‘T’ junction towards Tadban.
Vehicles from Bhavani Nagar and Mirjumla Talab will not be allowed towards Charminar and diverted at Bibi Bazar crossroads towards Alijah Kotla (Miralam Mandi road).
Traffic coming from Moghalpura towards Charminar will be diverted towards Alijah Kotla Chowk Maidan Khan and from Moghalpura fire station.
Vehicles from Yakutpura towards Gulzar Houz will be diverted towards Miralam Mandi road at Eitebar Chowk mosque.
Traffic coming from Purani Haveli and Mandi road towards Chatta Bazar will be diverted at Lakkad Kote crossroads towards Dar-ul-Shifa.
Vehicles coming from Fateh Darwaza will not be allowed towards Himmatpura crossroads and will be diverted towards Khilwat and Moti Galli. Traffic from Puranapul towards Lad Bazar will be diverted at Chowk mosque either towards Shahgunj or Chelapura.
Traffic coming from Khilwat towards LadBazar will be diverted at Moti Galli “T” junction towards Chowk mosque. Vehicles coming from Shakkar Kote will be diverted at Mitti Ka Sher towards Ghansi Bazar and Chelapura.
Traffic coming from Puranapul and Mehboob Ki Mehendi towards New Bridge will be diverted at Muslimjung bridge towards Begum Bazar.
Vehicles from Chaderghat, Noor Khan Bazar and Dar-Ul-Shifa will not be allowed towards Nayapul bridge and will be diverted at Dar-Ul-Shifa towards Gowliguda and Afzalgunj via Salarjung bridge. Traffic from Gowliguda and Siddiamber Bazar towards Naipul bridge will be diverted at Afzalgunj crossroads towards Muslimjung bridge via Osmania General Hospital road along the Musi river.
The road between Madina crossroads and Engine Bowli will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
The ASPSRTC buses will terminate at Afzalgunj, Dar-ul-Shifa crossroads and Engine Bowli and will take alternate routes open to them.
