Traffic movement will be restricted at several places in the city on Thursday to facilitate vehicular movement during Bathukamma celebrations at L.B. Stadium and Upper Tank Bund between 4 p.m. and 11.30 p.m.
Accordingly, traffic from Secunderabad to Upper Tank will be diverted at Bible House towards Kawadiguda and Lower Tank Bund. Vehicles from Kattamaisamma and Kawadiguda towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted towards DBR Mills Kawadiguda.
Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Upper Tank Bund will also be diverted onto Telugu Talli Flyover towards Kattamaisamma.
Traffic diversions and restrictions will also be imposed on routes leading to L.B. Stadium, the venue of State’s Bathukamma celebrations.
Police announced that all vehicles coming towards Basheerbagh will be diverted. Traffic diversions will take place at S.B.H. Gunfoundry, Old MLA Quarters, BJR Statue, King Koti and at Himayath Y Junction.
