December 23, 2013 11:22 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 08:01 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

A garments businessman committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at Secunderabad Railway Station in the early hours of Monday.

The dismembered body of Jitender Girji Goshal (45) was found on platform number 10.

“Members of Goshal’s family told us that he had a parking dispute with a neighbour near his residence in Himayatnagar. We are verifying if this had resulted in his extreme step,” Secunderbad railway SI P. Rama Rao said.

A suicide note purportedly written by Goshal was recovered in which he mentioned the name of the person, holding him responsible for his suicide. A plastic rope that was brought by Goshal was also recovered from the spot.

In another incident, a 35-year-old woman ended her life at her house at HAL Colony in Bowenpally on Monday.

Police said the victim, R. Seema Verma, had earlier worked as a teacher in a private school.
