Toll in Vikarabad cylinder blast rises to six

Three persons Iliyas (9), Amina Begum (21) and Taslima Begum (35) who suffered serious burns in the powerful explosion in a residential complex at Vikarabad on Friday, died while undergoing treatment at OGH on Sunday. With this, the toll rose to six. Four-year-old Karthik and 40-year-old Vansatha died on the spot, while 14 people sustained serious burns after LPG cylinder exploded in the house of one Chandrappa on Friday. Another boy, Sai Charan, (6), succumbed to burns at OGH on Saturday. Police said the injured persons were undergoing treatment at the OGH and Vikarabad Government Hospital, respectively.
