Two youths were killed and another person was severely injured in a road accident here on Sunday night, the police said.
Three friends on a motorcycle were returning to their village Pothunooru when an unidentified vehicle rammed their vehicle near a private spinning mill on the highway. Two of them died instantly, and the third person sustained severe injuries, they said.
The police identified the victims as P. Ramayya, 30, and Lingayya, 25. Their friend Chiranjeevi is being treated at the Kamala Nehru Hospital. Sub-Inspector K. Srinivas Naik said Ramayya was recently married man.
