Three more persons involved in the gang rape of a dancer from Mumbai were arrested by the city police on Sunday. With this, the number of persons arrested in connection with the rape case has gone up to five.

A police team caught Ajay Sharma alias Ali hailing from Delhi in Mumbai while Hari Krishna of Armoor in Nizamabad district surrendered at the Bowenpally police station and car driver Ravi was nabbed at his residence in Nizampet. On Saturday, the city police had arrested an event manager Happy alias Nitin Yadav from Mumbai and a milk businessman P. Venkat Raju from Nizamabad district.

Happy, Raju, Krishna and Ali allegedly violated the dancer while driver Ravi assisted the four persons in the crime, a police official said. The arrested persons were identified with the help of footage collected from the surveillance cameras installed at the RGIA, Shamshabad. The mobile call details of the four accused also enabled the police to nab them quickly.
