Three-day India Lab Expo opens at Hitex

Analytica Anacon India and India Lab Expo 2017, a three-day event focused on the laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics areas opened on Thursday at Hitex Exhibition Centre here.

Nearly 260 exhibitors, including 40 foreign firms, are participating in the exhibition. The event, which comprises the expo, conferences and around 1,000 buyer-seller meet, is expected to receive 7,500 visitors, said Bhupinder Singh, CEO of Messe Muenchen India Pvt Ltd.

The event, tenth in the series and fourth to be held in Hyderabad, is being organised by Messe Muenchen and Indian Analytical Instruments Association (IAIA). The exhibition brings together national and international exhibitors, consultants, business experts and key government officials under one roof to discuss the best global practices and seek solutions to some of the most imperative challenges related to the industry, a release said.

IAIA president Ashes Ganguly, executive vice-president–IPDO of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Amit Biswas and Mr. Singh inaugurated the exhibition. Various topics like audits and regulatory affairs, data integrity and emerging technologies for pharmaceutical laboratories were discussed on day one of the two-day conference, the release said.
