The Hindu chess competition on July 22

The tournament will be played on Swiss League basis under the latest FIDE rapid rules

TheHindu in School Chess Competition under the aegis of Telangana Chess Association - affiliated to All India Chess Federation, will be held on July 22 at St. Joseph’s Public School, Street No. 8, Habsiguda from 8.30 a.m.

The competition will be held for juniors - classes five to eight and seniors - nine to 12.

Entry fee

The entry fee for the competition is Rs.200 and the tournament will be played on Swiss League basis under the latest FIDE (Fédération Internationale des Échecs) rapid rules.

Prize distribution will be held at 5 p.m. at the venue.

Every participant will receive a participation certificate and 9 toppers will receive awards along with merit certificates.
