Ten start-ups, five of them based in Hyderabad, have won an-all-expense-paid trip to San Francisco under the UberEXCHANGE programme.

The taxi hailing app firm Uber, which had partnered T-Hub incubator for the selection process, on Wednesday announced the finalists of the UberEXCHANGE at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES 2017) here.

In San Francisco, the finalists would visit Uber’s headquarters and meet the executive leadership team. They would also be introduced to potential investors, the company said. Anytimeloan, Docturnal, Imaginate, Ekincare and Carengrow are the five finalists based in Hyderabad. Other finalists are Preva Systems , AlgoSurg , JioVio HealthCare , Gayam Motor Works and Gray Routes Technology.

Complimenting the finalists, IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao said T-Hub would continue to guide the start-ups and “Uber is an exceptional partner who can really take them places.”

President of Uber India & South Asia Amit Jain said since launch of the programme last year, in partnership with Invest India to create a start-up ecosystem, over 150 start-ups have been mentored.
