Temperatures dip in city, logs a minimum of 18°C

It is time to dust sweaters and woollen clothes as temperatures are sliding considerably in the capital. The maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 28.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 17.6 degrees Celsius.

On Thursday, while the maximum temperature dipped slightly to 28.6 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature recorded was 18.3 degrees Celsius.

Met Department authorities expect minimum temperatures to hover around 18 degrees Celsius during the next couple of days.

They said haze or mist would occur during morning hours on Friday, and the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 28 and 18 degrees Celsius, respectively.
