Temperature dips in city

September 19, 2017 12:32 am | Updated 12:33 am IST - HYDERABAD

After days of above normal maximum temperature prevailing in the city that was followed by rains last weekend, maximum temperature dipped under normal on Monday.

The city recorded a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius on Monday, about two degrees under normal for this time of the year.

The decrease in temperature attributable to rainfall during the past weekend also saw the humidity levels drop during the day.

The data from India Meteorological Department also suggested that the rest of week could be mostly dry barring isolated and short spells of rain.

Though not rain alerts have been issued a forecast of generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain and thundershowers was made for Hyderabad and surroundings.
