This has been of much help during emergencies and road accidents. The app also provides complete information pertaining to specialities available in each hospital district wise, phone numbers of the network hospitals, mail ids, etc., pointed out Administrative Officer CH. Soma Shekar.

Patients or their attendants not carrying the health care card can also simply download the card and take the services. Treatment status of a patient can also be found out. Besides, complaints pertaining to any deficiency of services, corruption and other issues can be brought o the notice of the higher authorities. Rating for the medical services can also be done.
The AO informed that there are plans to upgrade the mobile app with information about complete medical treatment record of a patient, details of trauma centres, blood banks and 108 ambulance services. Several States wanted to emulate the mobile app service and a representative from Uttarakhand has already been trained for the purpose.
