Techie killed in accident

A 28-year-old software engineer died after he rammed his two-wheeler into a speeding RTC bus that halted suddenly near a bank at Nagole on Thursday morning, police said. Rakesh, a systems engineer and a native of Warangal district, celebrated New Year at his sister’s house at Environ Towers in Uppal on Wednesday. The accident occurred when he was en route to his office at Pocharam village. He sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot. He stayed alone at Pocharam, police said.

A 35-year-old man died after falling down from his two-wheeler at Shivrampally on Wednesday night. Police said Abdulla Bin Awad, an electrician from Rajendra Nagar was en route to Hassan Nagar from Aramgarh junction when he tried to overtake a bus. His vehicle skidded and he fell, resulting in serious injuries. He died on the spot, police said.
