Police on Thursday arrested a teacher of a private school for allegedly misbehaving with girl students.

Police said Bhujanga Rao (31), who teaches mathematics, was accused of misbehaving with students in class. A girl brought the matter to the notice of her parents who spoke to the school dean. Her father later lodged a complaint with the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police.

Police booked Rao under the Nirbhaya Act and arrested him. He had been working in the school for the last two years, police said.
