TDP team to visit Nerella today

To provide financial assistance

A team of Telugu Desam Party State unit led by its president L. Ramana, working president A. Revanth Reddy, politburo member Ravula Chandrashekhar Reddy, State leaders E. Peddi Reddy, M. Narsimhulu and others will visit the Nerella village in Rajanna-Sircilla district on Friday to console the family members of victims of alleged police torture. The team will also meet the bereaved family members of accident victims.

As part of the programme on Friday, the TDP leaders would also provide financial assistance to the bereaved family members of accident victims of sand-laden lorries and also victims of alleged police torture.

Later, they would visit Vemulawada and console the eight victims, who were allegedly tortured by the police. These victims were released on conditional bail, and the team members would inquire into the incident of police brutality.
