TDP seeks probe into ‘YSR corruption'

April 11, 2010 04:26 pm | Updated 04:26 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has demanded a probe by a sitting judge into the charges of corruption levelled against the six-year Congress rule in the State, particularly during the regime of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, general secretary of the party Varla Ramaiah said that TDP had been repeatedly accusing the previous YSR government and the present government of large-scale corrupt activities. It was reiterated by none other than Congress Working Committee member G. Venkataswamy on Friday.

Only a probe by a sitting judge would bring out facts about all charges of corruption on last six years' Congress rule.
