‘T’ supporters to mount pressure on Centre

A round table titled ‘Telangana Etlosthadi’ (How Telangana can be achieved) adopted a resolution that pressure be mounted on the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government to introduce the bill for carving out a separate State in the monsoon session of Parliament that starts on Wednesday.

Representatives of different pro-Telangana organisations and political parties pledged to make the proposed August 30 ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ rally called by the T-JAC a success and drive home to the powers-that-be in New Delhi that the ‘T’ sentiment is indeed deeply-entrenched in the hearts and minds of people in the region.
