The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing the alleged hate speech case of Hindu religious leader Swami Kamalananda Bharathi, recorded his voice at the Cherlapally prison where he was lodged after being arrested a few days ago.

Officials from the Forensic Science Laboratory recorded Swami’s voice in the presence of his advocate and investigating officer and later a CD containing the voice samples was submitted to the court in a sealed cover, said Swami’s counsel K. Karunasagar.
