The who’s who of the film industry and politics showered their blessings on Tejeswini, granddaughter of the legendary NTR and younger daughter of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna when she got married to Sribharat, son of M.S.P. Rama Rao and grandson of the founder of Gitam University M.V.V.S. Murthi at an impressive wedding here on Wednesday morning.

The Cyberabad police had a tough time maintaining order at the glitzy affair. The fact that Mr. Balakrishna had earlier given an open invitation to his fans to come and bless the couple only made matters tough. The venue at the Hitex exhibition grounds was tastefully decorated.

As each star made a grand entry amidst the teeming crowd at the venue, a roar went up from the gathering that comprised fans. And when megastar-turned-Union Minister K. Chiranjeevi blessed the couple and gave Mr. Balakrishna a hug, the roar grew louder. Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu spent a while at the wedding, interacting with everyone who walked up to greet him.

Top art director Anand Sai who worked on films like Brindavanam and Rachcha , designed the mandap. He had previously done similar work for the weddings of Ramcharan Tej, Allu Arjun and N.T. Rama Rao (Junior) too. Cinematographer Ramprasad was given the task of ensuring optimal coverage of the wedding and the reception party.
