Special trains to Kakinada and Tirupati

South Central Railway (SCR) will be running two special trains each towards Kakinada and Tirupati this month.

Train No. 07075 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 17:55 hrs on August 11, 2017 and arrive at Kakinada Town at 05:50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07076 Kakinada Town- Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 19:40 hrs on August 12 and arrive in Secunderabad at 07:40 hrs on the next day.

Stops are at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikaluru, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations.

Train No. 07145 Hyderabad- Tirupati Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 19:00 hrs on August 14 and arrive/depart at Secunderabad at 19:20/19:25 hrs and arrive Tirupati at 08:10 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07146 Tirupati-Hyderabad Special Train will depart Tirupati at 19:55 hrs on August 15, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 09:30/09:35 hrs on the next day and arrive Hyderabad at 10:00 hrs.

Stops are at Kazipet, Warnagal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations in both directions.

Safety awards

SCR General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav presented “Man of the Month” safety awards to the staff for showing alertness in the duty and taking timely action to prevent unsafe conditions. He also participated in massive tree plantation programmes held at North Lallaguda Railway Colony and Alugadda Bavi.

A Routine Over Hauling (ROH) Shed for bogies’ maintenance at Sanatnagar was also inaugurated. Wagons need to be serviced at a periodicity of 24 months for new ones and 18 months thereafter, an official spokesperson said in a press release.
