The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the A.P. Legislative Assembly that met here on Thursday decided to convene a special, one-day session on April 4 to discuss the no-confidence motion against Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao.
The notice for the motion was served by the YSR Congress on March 19.
But after serving the notice, the party appeared to be in a dilemma on whether or not to carry it forward when they got wind of the ruling Telugu Desam Party’s strategy of insisting on its admission and use it politically against Opposition.
Even till late in the afternoon, YSR Congress legislators seemed unsure and conveyed the same to journalists.
