Depressed over her failure to pursue higher studies, a software engineer ‘committed suicide' by hanging at her house in Gachibowli on Sunday morning, police said.
Y. Sindhu Rani (23), a software engineer with Intelligroup, wanted to pursue higher studies. But her parents got her married to a software engineer, Manikanta Kumar, four months ago against her wishes, the police said.
Ever since, she had been in a state of depression. Unable to cope with the situation, Sindhu hanged herself to death after her husband left for work.
