‘Smart energy solutions are the future’

August 28, 2014 12:22 am | Updated November 17, 2021 05:54 am IST - HYDERABAD:

With consumers and enterprises increasingly drawing power from multiple sources of energy, especially for commercial use, micro grids and Building Energy Management Systems are set to become part of futuristic technologies, said Satyam Bheemarasetti, CEO of NeoSilica, a smart grid solutions company.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Bheemarasetti said, unlike earlier, today’s buildings depend on multiple sources such as diesel generators, inverters, and rooftop solar installations, apart from power from the grid, thus necessitating automation of power systems internal to a building.

Along with Chief Technology Officer Ravi Patruni, he outlined the company’s services, which include Smart Grid Solutions, Plant Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition and Remote Monitoring for solar plants and smart buildings.

The company has earlier provided energy solutions for public sector majors like BHEL, BSNL and for the Pondicherry Electricity Board.
