The findings of the post-mortem conducted on beautician Sirisha, who was found hanging at a photo studio in Shaikpet, has revealed that her body bore scratch injuries. According to the report, injuries were found on the neck, eye and near the lips of the deceased. The post-mortem result was conveyed orally to the investigating officials on Thursday. However, there was no definite sign of a sexual assault, as per the report.

The two persons who are related to the death — Vallabhaneni Rajiv, a photographer and the employer of Sirisha and his friend Shravan — continued to be in the custody of the Banjara Hills police who are investigating the case. The officials, with the help of Forensics team, tried to recreate the scene that took place between Monday night and Tuesday morning. The case has gained public interest after a Sub-Inspector of Kukunoorpally was found dead, hours after Sirisha ended her life.

According to those related to the case, Sirisha, Rajiv and his friend Shravan went to the house of the Sub-Inspector as they were having a dispute. The police are still probing the reasons behind Sirisha’s drastic decision and are also collecting technical evidence.

Sirisha’s husband Satish Chandra, who is a chef, demanded a thorough probe as he expressed doubts over her death. He said that he got a call from his wife in the early hours of Tuesday and he could not attend to it as he was fast asleep. He said that she also sent him her location through a messaging app on Monday night which makes the circumstances leading to her death more suspicious. He said that Sirisha had no personal problems or financial issues that can drive her to suicide.
