The Singoor project in Sangareddy is receiving a steady inflow of water since Friday as a result of heavy rains in the catchment areas.

According to Singoor project divisional engineer L. Jagannath, 3,500 cusecs of water reached the project by Sunday and officials are expecting more inflows if rainfall continues in the same manner. The project currently has 11.54 tmcft water as against 10 tmcft water during the same time last year.
