Shivlal Yadav bereaved

Nandilal Yadav (89), father of BCCI interim president Shivlal Yadav passed away on Monday night.

The deceased is also the father-in-law of Justice Jai Narain Patel, who was suggested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to the Supreme Court to probe into alleged match-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Justice Patel, who is married to the elder sister of Mr. Shivlal Yadav, flew into the city on Monday and visited the latter’s house at East Marredpally.

Former India Test cricketer Arshad Ayub, Indian women’s cricket captain Mithali Raj, HCA secretary S. Venkateshwaran, ex-HCA secretary D.S. Chalapathi were among who called on Mr. Yadav at the residence to express their condolences.
