The 279th birth anniversary of Sant Sevalal Maharaj, the revered spiritual leader of the Banjara community, will be celebrated here on February 22. A shobha yatra and cultural programmes will be held as part of the celebrations at Ramlila Maidan.
This was finalised at a preparatory meeting on Wednesday. Collector D. Divya asked officials to make all arrangements to celebrate the occasion as per Banjara customs and traditions.
Boath MLA Rathod Bapu Rao and Celebrations Committee chairman Rathod Janardhan attended the meeting.
