It is another tryst with history for 14-year-old Naina Jaiswal; a student of BA (mass communication) in St. Mary’s College (Yousufguda) is all set to become the youngest ever to write the BA final year examinations starting from March 27
The young paddler training under her father Ashwani Kumar Jaiswal at the Fateh Maidan indoor stadium here, has already some academic records to her credit such as passing out the 10 standard exam at the age of eight, Intermediate at the age of 10 and now is confidence personified to clear the degree final year too.
“I don’t feel the pressure at all. In fact, I am enjoying these challenges,” says the child prodigy, who is also the youngest ever to win gold at the national level in the seniors category when she represented the Indian Oil Corporation women’s team in the All India PSU championship a couple of years ago.
“Most children have some spark, all they need is greater personal attention and sacrifices from the family,” says her father Ashwani Kumar Jaiswal. Interestingly, Naina’s brother – Agasthya Jaiswal – too is planning to write the 10 standard exam next year at the age of eight and is known for his memory prowess.
