Seminar on secretarial audit today

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct a day-long seminar on secretarial audit at a star hotel here on Wednesday.

The national president of the institute, Atul H. Mehta, will address the seminar which will be attended by 150 practising company secretaries, students, professionals and others.

The speakers include ICSI’s former vice-president Vikas Y. Khare and practitioners Suresh Vishwanathan, B. Ravichandran and L. Jayaraman.

Diligence techniques

The topics to be discussed in the seminar include secretarial audit, concept and genesis, diligence techniques and methodology, reporting on fraud, audit practices and approach and others, a press release said.
