Seminar on 50 years of Naxalbari

Virasam or Viplava Rachayatala Sangham (Revolutionary Writers Collective) is organising a two-day all-India seminar on ‘Impact of Naxalbari on Indian Society: Achievements and Challenges’ at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, here on Saturday and Sunday.

The seminar will be organised as Naxalbari movement is celebrating its 50 anniversary.

As per a media release issued by the writers’association the seminar will discuss all aspects of the Naxalbari Movement, which the Communist Party of China called the “spring thunder on the horizon of Indian revolution”.

The release stated, “Naxalbari knows how complex and strong are the systems that it wants to transform and how they evolved on the social and cultural foundations”.
