Security will be beefed up in the city on December 6, the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition.

The south zone police have identified as many as 60 sensitive locations in the area. Out of these, 15 are hypersensitive. To prevent anti-social activity, a close watch will be kept on the movement of anti-social elements and pickets will be placed at several locations. The security measures will also include periodic checking of vehicles.

To instil a sense of confidence among residents ahead of the demolition anniversary, south zone police conducted a two-team flag march on Tuesday. Two companies of the CRPF, six Telangana State Special Police platoons and law and order police personnel which included an additional deputy commissioner of police, eight assistant commissioners of police, 30 inspectors and 75 sub-inspectors belonging to different divisions were a part of the flag march.
