The Secunderabad Railway Station is likely to see a sea change and be developed on the lines of KL Central Railway Station in Kaula Lumpur.

A Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared by the South Central Railway and is discussing the issue with the State Government, Municipal Administration Minister K.T. Rama Rao informed the Assembly on Saturday. Replying to a question on multilevel parking at Secunderabad railway station, the Minister agreed that there was a need to de-congest the place with more modern facilities for parking and the passengers.

There is no Government, however, doesn’t have any proposals for multilevel parking as there is no land available there. However, a Foot Over Bridge has been proposed from Chilkalguda ring road towards Musheerabad.
