With incessant rains all over the State, the South Central Railways (SCR) has sounded the monsoon alert, putting into motion its readiness drill like taking up patrolling, monitoring of water levels of the tanks and other water bodies.
General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav on Monday instructed the divisional managers concerned to concentrate on important locations like bridges and girders. On the punctuality front, an action plan to attain optimal levels and avoid unsafe working has been mooted. Track renovation works should be planned in a manner where train punctuality is not affected. Root causes of asset failures should be ascertained and corrective action initiated for system improvements, he said, during the meeting held with top officers at the Rail Nilayam. He urged them to give full co-operation to the construction organisation for completing on-going construction projects of 2017-18 within the target time, a press release said.
SCR will be running 12 special trains between Secunderabad - Darbhanga - Secunderabad and Hyderabad - Raxaul - Hyderabad (via., diverted route).
Train No. 07007 Secunderabad – Darbhanga special train will depart Secunderabad at 22.00 hrs on 18th, 22nd, 25th & 29th July, 2017 and arrive at Darbhanga at 13.45 hrs on the second day. In the return direction, Train No. 07008 Darbhanga – Secunderabad special train will depart from Darbhanga at 05.00 hrs on 21st, 25th, 28th July and 1st August, 2017 and arrive Secunderabad at 22.10 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Sirpurkagazhnagar, Balharsha, Gondia, Durg, Raipur,Bilaspur, Jharsuguda,Rourkela, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Gomoh, Parasnath, Koderma, Gava, Nawadah, Kiul, Jamalpur, Monghyr, Begusarai, Barauni and Samastipur stations in both directions. Train No. 07005 Hyderabad – Raxaul Special Train will depart from Hyderabad at 21.30 hrs, arrive /depart Secunderabad at 21.50/22.00 hrs on 20th and 27th July, 2017 and arrive at Raxaul at 17.30 hrs on the second day. In the return direction, Train No. 07006 Raxaul – Hyderabad special train will depart from Raxaul at 01.30 hrs on 23rd and 30th July, 2017 and arrive at / depart from Secunderabad at 22.40/22.50 hrs; arrive Hyderabad at 23.15 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kazipet, Mancherial, Sirpurkagazhnagar, Balharsha, Chandrapur, Nagpur Gondia, Durg, Raipur,Bilaspur, Jharsuguda,Rourkela, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Gomoh, Parasnath, Koderma, Gava, Nawadah, Kiul, Jamalpur, Monghyr, Begusarai, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi and Bairgania stations in both directions.
