A three-year-old girl was crushed to death under the wheels of a school bus at Miyapur on Thursday.
The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. when the toddler, Gayatri, stepped out of the house as her elder sister Urmila was about to board the school bus near their apartment at Gokul Plots.
As Gayatri’s mother helped the elder child on to the bus, she failed to notice Gayatri come out of the house. With Urmila having boarded the bus, the driver started the vehicle, even as Gayatri ran across the road. The three-year-old came under front wheel of the bus and got crushed to death.
