SCB 12,000 voter enrolment applications

The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) received 12,000 voter enrolment applications during the three-day period which ended Sunday.

The applications received would be scrutinized and the final list would be put up after December 6. Currently there are 1.58 lakh voters on SCB’s list. To increase voter turn-out day SCB announced earlier that residents who could not enrol vote on the poll day if they can show their general election voter ID card and proof of residence in SCB during the last six months or more.

SCB residents will vote on January 11 to elect ward members in eight wards, home to more than 3 lakh people.
