Given the power demand and supply gap of 80-95 MU due to abnormal increase of demand, inadequate coal supply, depletion of natural gas and insufficient inflows of water to reservoirs, APCPDCL with a view to encourage electricity consumers conserve energy is launching a an awarding winning campaign.
It is open for domestic consumers, who conserve energy in Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts.
The selection of winners will be made on the basis of their consumption in March and April 2013 with respect to the consumption of March and April 2012. Based on their consumption, consumers will be separated into two groups i.e, zero to 200 units and above 200 units.
Interested consumers of APCPDCL area have to SMS their nine digits Unique Service Number from their mobile to mobile number: 73822 96458 for registration before March 10, said a press release.
