Farmers of Peddakaparthy of Nakrekal constituency suggested input subsidy be paid through post office and wanted 24x7 power after the irrigation canals were ready.

Interacting with Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Minister for Energy and SC Development G. Jagadish Reddy during their surprise visit to the constituency, the farmers expressed concern that the banks would deduct other dues from the ₹4000 assistance being paid by the government.

They also felt that 24-hour power supply was not needed immediately as it could lead to over-exploitation of ground water. Instead, they wanted the continuous power supply once the Dharmareddy and Pillaipally canals are ready, both of which are presently under modernisation.

District Collector Gaurav Uppal, Munugode MLA K. Prabhakar Reddy were present.
