RTC mechanic killed in freak accident

In a freak accident, an RTC mechanic was killed at Dilsukhnagar bus depot on Thursday morning. N. Radha Krishna (39) got stuck between two buses while carrying out repair works and fell in a pit.

His head dashed against a bus during the fall. Colleagues rushed him to Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, Malakpet SI Ch. Tirumalesh said. The mishap occurred when driver of one of the buses that Krishna had repaired switched on the engine to check its condition. Driver Narasimha stepped on the accelerator to check the speed when the bus hit Krishna throwing him into the pit. The police booked a case under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) of IPC against Narasimha and took him into custody.
