RTA to hold meet with rickshaw unions tomorrow

The State Road Transport Authority (RTA) here has called for a meeting with all auto-rickshaw unions in the city on April 7 to discuss matters pertaining to women safety and payment of e-challans. The move comes as the RTA and the police have decided to enumerate the ownership particulars of auto-rickshaws plying in the city through an action plan.

A meeting comprising the unions, Deputy Commissioners of Police from Hyderabad and Cyberabad, Joint Transport Commissioner, Hyderabad, and other officials of the RTA from Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts will be held to discuss the issues.
