Rs. 100 cr. collected through Early Bird Scheme

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar on Saturday said in a statement that the civic body has collected Rs. 100 crore through the ‘Early Bird Scheme’ in which 1.8 lakh property tax payers have paid tax availing 5 per cent rebate.

With four days still remaining, the Commissioner has appealed to the tax payers to avail the opportunity and pay tax before April 30 with 5 per cent rebate.

Citizen Services Centres in all circle offices of the GHMC will remain open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 26 and property tax payers can visit the centres in their respective circles.
