RRB staff to take part in strike tomorrow

All unions in grameena banks, under the banner of United Forum of RRB Unions, have decided to join the nationwide general strike on September 2 called in support of the demands raised by the Central trade unions.

About one lakh officers, employees and daily wage sub-staff working in all the 56 regional rural banks would participate in the strike. Thus, work at all the 21,000 branches and controlling offices of the banks would be affected, general secretary of the National Federation of RRB Officers S.Venkateswar Reddy said in a release.
