The Telangana State Deputy Collectors’ Association and the Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association, on Thursday, expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, for taking cognizance of the work done by the Revenue Department, regarding the purification of land records. They also thanked him for promising to address the problems of the employees and other benefits announced by him, at a meeting in Hyderabad. TSDCA State president K. Krishna Reddy and TRESA Adilabad president K. Chandra Shekhar and secretary M. Madhukar told newsmen that the government’s move to simplify the land laws in the State will end unnecessary litigations and confusion over related aspects. They also pointed out the move to scrap the old terminology used by the Revenue Department which, in many cases, had generated confusion.

“There will be more transparency in land transactions now,” Mr. Krishna Reddy said. “The scope for corruption also gets eliminated thanks to the transparency,” he added in response to a question.
