Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP from Karimnagar B. Vinod Kumar has requested Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to rename the AP Express train running between Secunderabad and New Delhi as Telangana Express.
In a letter addressed to the Union Minister on Sunday, Mr. Vinod Kumar said it was unfortunate that the Railway Ministry had not changed the AP Express (No. 12723/12724) even six months after the formation of Telangana State.
He noted that the train would travel entirely in Telangana before entering Maharashtra on the way to Delhi.
