Tuesday morning turned out to be a rather pleasant one for the entire city. A much-needed respite from sweltering days of the past weeks, Tuesday's slight dip in temperature came as a relief for the city's denizens.

Drop in temparature

The two degree drop in daytime temperatures, which lowered the mercury to 41 degrees, was welcomed by residents. The cloudy weather too came as an unexpected bonus. The minimum temperature witnessed a one degree departure from Monday's 28 degrees.

The next 48 hours are also expected to witness partly cloudy weather, said weather officials. Isolated rains or thundershowers are likely in Coastal Andhra, they said.
